Managing your potential risk of major cardiovascular (CV) events is also important if you have a history of heart disease, as is losing weight. Diet and exercise, along with Ozempic®, have been shown to improve blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. Ozempic® reduces the risk of major cardiovascular events in adults with type 2 diabetes and known heart disease, such as stroke, heart attack, or death.
