Naseptin definition
Two active components make up the white cream known as Naseptin: an antibiotic (neomycin sulphate) and a disinfectant (chlorhexidine hydrochloride). The antibiotic destroys the bacteria by entering them and preventing protein synthesis, which is necessary for the bacteria to grow and reproduce. The immune system of the body then eliminates the dead and destroyed germs. As an antiseptic, the disinfectant works.

Applying Naseptin
Only the nose should be used with Naseptin cream. Apply the cream, first in one nostril and then the other, using the tip of your little finger and a small bit of the cream. Every age group uses the same quantity. Apply the cream twice daily to prevent an infection; four times daily to treat an infection for ten days. But your doctor will specify precisely when and how to use it. If you’ve just cleaned your face, don’t use Naseptin because it could not work as well when used with some soaps. As the cream might leave a brown stain on materials, try to avoid getting it on your clothes. If you accidentally consume any Naseptin or apply too much of it, go to your doctor right away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember (unless it is about time for the next application).

Can anyone use Naseptin?
Naseptin can be used by children, adults, and the elderly; however, if it is for a kid or you are 65 years of age or older, inform your doctor. If you have a neomycin sulphate, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, peanut, soy, or any other allergy, you should avoid using napeptin. If you experience hearing problems, let your doctor know because Naseptin may exacerbate them. Inform your doctor about any prescription and non-prescription medications you are now taking, have recently taken, or plan to take, as you should with any medication. Although using this cream while pregnant or nursing is not known to be harmful to the baby, you should still get advice before doing so.

Side Effects of Naseptin
Naseptin can impair hearing, temporarily impair taste or smell, cause skin irritation and redness, local skin reactions (contact dermatitis), renal issues, and hearing problems (pain when urinating or blood in urine). Seek emergency medical attention if you experience breathing difficulties, dizziness, or a severe skin rash (including redness, blistering, or swelling). These symptoms could indicate an allergic response.
