Directions
To ensure that you use Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray appropriately, follow the directions and look at the illustrations in the leaflet:

Step 1: Remove the nozzle’s plastic cap.
Step 2: When initially utilising the spray, press the plunger downwards while supporting the base with your thumb, as shown in the diagram, and release until a single spray is delivered.
Step 3: Hold the bottle vertically and into one nostril with the nozzle. Press the plunger downwards while breathing in through your nose. Remove the nozzle from the nose by releasing the plunger. Rep the procedure for the other nostril.
Step 4: After usage, wipe the nozzle and replace the plastic cover.
Do not exceed the dose indicated in the table.

Youngsters under the age of 12: Do not provide to children under the age of 12.

Adults and children over the age of 12:
2 or 3 times a day, one spray into each nostril.

Do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours.

Do not use for more than 7 days in a row.

If your symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

If you think you have too much, contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty), and bring the leaflet and pack with you.

If you forget to take a dose, take the following dose as soon as you remember, as long as you do not take more than three doses in 24 hours. Do not take two doses.

Do not use this medication:

If you have ever had an allergic reaction to any of the substances (e.g., rash, swelling of the face and throat, difficulty breathing).
If you are now taking, or have recently taken, Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors for depression (MAOIs).
If you’ve recently undergone neurosurgery.
If your pituitary gland has been removed.
If you are expecting.
If any of these apply to you, see a doctor or pharmacist before using Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray.

If you suffer from diabetes.
If your thyroid gland is hyperactive.

Benzalkonium chloride is a skin irritant that can induce allergic responses.

Sudafed Blocked Nose Spray, like all medications, can cause adverse effects, though they do not affect everyone and are usually minor.

Local irritation, such as burning, discomfort, dryness, stinging, itching, or sneezing, may occur on occasion.
Nausea and headaches are uncommon.
Congestion symptoms may reappear if this medication is used continually for an extended period of time.

Store at no more than 25oC.

Keep the product out of children’s reach and sight.

Do not take your drug after the end of the month indicated on the container as an expiry date.

Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1 percent w/v is the active component.

Benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride, sorbitol solution, and filtered water are all included.
